Hi, Aunt Kate. I'm sick too. I had a fever yesterday and today and my mom said she could fry eggs on me, but decided it would be easier and less messy on the stove. I hope you feel better soon. Mommy keeps telling me it's late and that I should go to bed, but how can I sleep knowing that you're sick? Please get well soon so we can all get together and paint our toenails and have a pillow fight and dance and toast marshmallows on the stove!

OK, so first I got the post from Mike, who's an old friend from my Rutgers-era days--long enough ago that he's grandfathered in on being able to call me "Katie." (I realized when I was 18 or 19 that I didn't, in fact, think that should be my name. But a few people still know me that way, and I like it.) Hi, Mike!
And then... CUMAL?!?!?!?!?! Now, he goes way, *WAY* back--like to middle school. We were neighbors, and he was the master of the avant-garde yo' mama joke. An example: "Your mother has a wooden leg, and beavers chase her through the woods."

Hey Kate, website is beautiful. Love the music, it's my kind. I may actually be interested in using a song for one of my classes, but I have to hear the whole album. I am doing monthly healing circles and your music sounds like it would be good for some of the meditations. Of course, with your permission. This first one is focused on releasing judgement, but when I do one on love, maybe one of your reflective ballads would be good. It was so great to see you at Derek's workshop. This is a really important step for you and will impact your artistry in big ways, trust me!!! Maybe next time you can consider the advanced Initiation which was just beyond words.
